Short Stories

Listed here are fictions that qualify as short stories- those with less than 10,000 words. Since their size makes it kinda hard to justify spending four or so hours combined putting an entry together for them, and interviewing the writer, and all that jazz, I've decided to make a bunch of "mini-entries" that go on this page. Fair enough?

Where to start, where to start... While I did find this story mildly amusing, the Grammar Nazi in me was found screaming and clawing for mercy at times (just because of his sensitivity despite my own flaws). I also wish it had been a bit longer and more detailed; I found myself wishing I knew how characters got from place to place. Vague detail usually doesn't suit me too well.
The writing style also was rather awkward. I'm used to new paragraphs when someone new has spoken, or when the speaker changes subjects. This made it rather an odd read, though it was quick. It ate up a good half hour in total of reading, so I guess if you have some time to waste, it won't hurt.

This is a quaint little story. A tad difficult to read, since conversations tend to be condensed into single paragraphs, and the story overall was rather short. I felt like there were several events that could have been expanded on that were simply summed up in two or three sentences. All in all, it's a decent fanfic.
