Armageddan

The Fate of the Wasteland was deeper, darker, and much more dangerous than the first Fallout. With a few new faces, the group once again sets out from the vault, this time intent on eliminating the mutant menace that now threatens the entire wasteland.
With the addition of music (and much heavier weaponry) the battles were more intense and and frantic. I was especially pleased with the climax of the RP where the group met the leader of the mutant army. There were a few difficulties backstage, but overall, this RP turned out awesome. I'm very proud of everyone who helped this story to be such a success, and I'd like to add that I'm handing off control of the next Fallout-related RP to Mr. Snowguy. Good luck, Liam!

Mr. Snowguy

I really enjoyed Fate of the Wasteland. It had its ups and downs, but places like the Glow were really fun to post to. I remember the Brotherhood of Steel being portrayed as bloodthirsty mercenaries at first, and just slapping my forehead. Though parts like this were a bit trying, there was no way that I would abandon such a great RP. I remember all the way through it, Dan and I debated on whether or not the Master’s cause was right. I felt a little bit down when I found out that it was going to end off in a fight, until that is, the fight ended. He included a little bit of Lily agreeing with the Master, which I thank him for. All in all, I really enjoyed being a part of this RP. Congrats Dan, for your success.

CaviosDaryll

I absolutely love this RP. I didn't like it as much as the first one though (but this is mainly because the first Fallout was the first successful RP I have ever been in). Although, this one had some pretty great moments too, and the storyline was excellent. My favorite parts of this RP were:
    1. The fight with The Master.
    2. The epilogues of each character.
The rest of the RP was awesome too, but it is just that these will stand out in my mind more than the rest of the RP. All in all, it was yet another very successful and incredibly fun RP hosted by Armageddan.

Captain Obvious

This RP was a new experience for me. Although I am a verrrry experienced RPer, it was the first time I participated in one which allowed control of other characters... and since I had awful experiences with other RPs of this kind, I was kinda afraid... but soon, I found myself having fun (although, since my character is so weird, I found myself sending and receiving PMs periodically... not that I mind it at all). I'm proud of the character I created (Phantron).
I wanted to create a character that clashed with all the others both in personality, appearance, and abilities and succeeded extremely well. I was also able to develop her quite nicely without overshadowing the other characters (a flaw of mine; my characters are unintentional attention *****s, having a back-story ten times as deep as the other characters and ending up replacing the main character... which does not give pretty results usually) which was nice for a change.
Of course, I am not solely responsible for how well my character turned out; the others respected my wishes and better than this- when in the end I was disconnected and couldn't participate in the end, the other RPers pulled out an outstanding job using Phantron, portraying her almost perfectly. I also liked how Phantron blended in the party and despite her reluctance, turned out to be an actual, fully-functional part of the team, adding some interesting elements to the already chaotic mental chemistry of the party.
Some problems that arose were due to Phantron's physical strength; she is a heavy battle robot and as such, is second only to the final enemy in terms of sheer endurance (she's the only one who can take a grenade or missile directly and live)... and as such, we tried to counter-balance it with horrible speed and agility (Phantron gets knocked around quite a bit and has difficulties evading attacks). Her ability (Soul Resonance) could also been a problem... but since storyline-wise, Phantron only got close to Thunder (and not enough for it to trigger), it turned out as little more than a plot device for her to be the local cold, insensitive, kick-you-in-the-knee temperamental robot.
Interactions with other RPers and their characters formed the meat of the RP (of course). Phantron's antics with some of the other characters as she described their logical flaws and then usually gave them physical punishments for it were funny. Her seemingly heartless reactions to death and her total lack of fear in front of danger also caused some cases of strange humor. Without those interesting characters, Phantron wouldn't have turned out so well (can't complain when you have nothing to complain about, right?).
My only real regret toward the RP is that after it had seemingly died down, I left the board for a few months and as such, missed the ending entirely. I would have liked to control Phantron personally... well, I guess I shall learn from this mistake now and remain, starting now.
Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this RP and everyone did a good job in my opinion. If a sequel to the story is planned... then I'll make sure to tag along once more!
With that said, have a nice day!

Fallout... was... AWESOME! It played out very well, and involved lots of shooting, mutants, mystery, shooting, explosions, shooting, big giant lizards, a master super computer, System Shock references. Oh, and did I mention plenty of shooting?
Overall, Fallout was a hit! I hope another one comes out!

gamerman

It was the greatest RP ever!!! I loved every post. I thought that Armageddan managed to make the sequel even better than the original, something that takes mad RP skillz to pull off. I loved the way things were constantly changing, and the ending make me think WTF!! We had some of the best characters ever, and I feel we definitely matured in terms of descriptions from the first RP. I anxiously await a possible sequel to Fallout.

Matthias     With a very dark yet hysterical sense of humor, great cast of characters, and one of the creepiest final bosses ever, this RP is definitely worth the read. The surprise ending is one of the most memorable I've seen. My favorite character has to be Cavios, though. No offense to the other characters, but half the reason I read was to see Cavios' crazy antics/hysterical lines. But, a round of applause to everyone for this great sequel/second half of the first story! December 14, 2005
Ricky     All I can say is "wow"... As good as the first Fallout was, this surpasses it in leaps and bounds. The comedy, the battles, the tragedies, the victories, and especially the suspense... this RP is a masterpiece. The emotion caused by it is almost overwhelming. I give everybody involved a round of applause. You guys should be proud. This is quite a story. December 20, 2005
